Music on Hold Titles

Licence-Free Titles are pieces of music which are not subject to a copyright licence, generally because they were written a long time ago.

The recordings listed below have been made for Mirror Audio such that no copyright licence exists on the recordings themselves, nor are they subject to PPL (Phonographic Performance Ltd) licences.

We can also take supplied music in Cassette, DAT or CD format and edit, fade or loop as required to match the format of your equipment. In this case you must have made any licence arrangements required by the owners of the recording or material.

We are constantly adding to our range of contemporary specially recorded music titles for use in music-on-hold. Since the music is unique to Mirror Audio, we have not bothered to give each piece of music a name. Instead, use our demonstration service to choose a piece that suits your requirement. All contemporary licence-free titles reference numbers start with 3, so the first is 300, the next 301 and so on.

Copyright titles are pieces of music where the composer or publisher still owns the Copyright. To play these over the telephone network, you are obliged by law to take out a licence with the Performing Rights Society. The songs are a mixture of instrumental and vocal arrangements of the original recordings.
